KURT COBAIN SKETCH

Sketch 8/52 of my weekly sketches continues with this drawing of Kurt Cobain from Nirvana. I took a somewhat obscure photo of him solely based on how much I liked his eyes in this shot. It's a very strong image on its own. The fun thing about forcing myself to sketch every week is that I get to experiment. I was originally going to draw this like the Hannibal sketch when I decided to try to use pencil for the shading instead. I like that it gives a different effect than just the ink version.
