Edgar Allan Poe Sketch

I'm taking advantage of the holiday season to experiment with different mediums. I made so much headway with facial proportions and pencil renderings, that I wanted to try some fine tip marker sketches. I'm trying to loosen up to find my Akumu Ink style in my portraits, but it's very hard for me to lose control and just go for it. I seem to focus so much on technique and trying to 'get it right.' I did pick up some watercolour paper, so I'm hoping to have a go at that today and see if I can learn something new, as my past watercolours were very basic.
