Pillows for the Homeless

Early this year, we searched through a box of misprinted shirts and saw a significant number of tees that could be repurposed. Aldora decided to turn them into pillows for the homeless. She made a pillow pattern, and then spent many nights sewing and stuffed them all. A strap (sewn from the excess garments) was then added to each pillow to provide functionality and ease so they could be carried around during the day.

Altogether, 70 pillows were made and donated to Union Station Homeless Services in Pasadena (https://unionstationhs.org/). We hope these pillows have been enjoyed by those who need them the most.
