The Music I Listened to in 2013

This year I've come across many new bands. I had been pretty stagnant with music for the last few years listening to my favourites from Norma Jean, Every Time I Die, Dillinger Escape Plan, mixed in with BoA and Utada. But my 2013 resolution was to try different musical influences to see how they would inspire my creative process. And you know what, I think it actually worked. That musically never left my itunes, but here is a list of the most inspiring bands I've been listening to in 2013 which allowed me to create our Winter 2013 and Summer 2014 collections. Among these designs are most recently released Nightmare in Oz and Sinister Smile, and coming up next month Die Alone and The Portrait. Here is my top picks in alphabetical order: Between the Buried and Me Bob Dylan Bon Iver Cat Stevens City and Colour Converge (All We Love We Leave Behind) Die Antwoord Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros Florence and the Machine James Blake Johnny Cash Listener Of Monster and Men and compilations of current JPOP/KPOP/JROCK songs (including 2NE1, Wonder Girls, G-Dragon, BIGBANG, 2AM, Sunny Hill, etc...)
