Vermicompost
Since Dora graduated from her program this winter she's been keeping busy with numerous side projects. One of which is her new blog that is all about cooking on a day to day basis but updating parts of the recipes here and there to make them slightly healthier and still altogether delicious. It's a technique where you use red worms to compost kitchen scraps like egg shells, fruit peels, coffee grinds, etc. It helps a lot in reducing what you're throwing away on a week by week basis. Even though fruits and vegetables decompose quickly when thrown away in a trash bag it's not going to do much until the actual bag decomposes too.
