Since the 2020 pandemic, we have retired from setting up at conventions. Going to conventions is very hard work, and takes us away from being creative. We are now focused on selling directly through our website and working with local shops.
We've been noticing a lot of counterfeit merch being sold online by manufacturers in China and India. They're selling them on websites like Amazon, Facebook, and even their own websites. We want to help you make sure you're buying from the real Akumu Ink® brand and not a scammer.
Here are some things to look out for:
- If you don't see the Akumu Ink® brand name or logo, it's fake.
- If the shirt is being shipped from China or India, it's 100% fake. All our products are labeled "Created in Holland" or "Printed in the USA".
- If you see our design on a product that's not offered on our website, it's fake.
- If a new product is on sale, that isn't on sale on our website, it's probably fake.
- If the quality of the material and print looks really bad and pixelated/blurry, it's fake.
If you're not sure if an online seller is fake, just message us and we'll let you know. We're working hard to stop these scammers and shut them down.
ALL Black Friday sales items, Mystery Packs and custom printed items are FINAL.
Please Contact us about an exchange within 5 days of receiving your order:
A- If the item is NOT what you ordered.
B- If the item is defective.
We do not refund, accept returns and/or exchange if the order was correctly fulfilled as all our apparel is printed to order.
Only under certain conditions when an exchange/refund may be possible, there will be a 25% restocking fee added to facilitate the customer's request.

-For those who buy through Klarna: We offer a 14-day return period. If you order the wrong size and would like to exchange or return, you would be required to cover the cost of shipping.

All orders are printed to order. We do our best to ship out your order within 1-5 work days.
- If you're in the Netherlands, we use PostNL, and your order should arrive in 1-2 days.
- For orders in Europe, we use Regular Post, and it takes about 5-10 working days to arrive.
- or orders going to the USA, Canada, or Australia, the cost for Regular Mail depends on the package's weight, ranging from €13 to €60. It usually takes about 3 weeks to arrive.
If you choose Fedex, your package will get to you within 3-7 working days.
*A heads-up: Since we ship from Europe, there might be customs charges in your home country (like the USA, Canada, UK, Australia) when your package arrives. Refusing the package won't cancel any customs charges issued by your local post office after importing your package. And just so you know, we don't give refunds for refused packages.
