2- How do I purchase with my US credit card?

If you're having problems buying on our website using your US credit card, we recommend choosing PayPal as your method of payment upon checkout. No PayPal account is necessary. Just follow these simple steps.

3- Why is Akumu Ink in Europe now? Weren't you from the US?

Both Joey and Aldora (Akumu Ink co-owners) are Canadian. We started and grew the brand in Montreal from 2008, before moving to Los Angeles in 2014. If you're interested in knowing why we moved to Europe in 2019 you can read more here

4- Wholesale & Distribution:
We currently stock 35+ shops around the world. If you are interested in carrying our merchandise in your store or boutique, please contact us here for access to our wholesale website. (We do not work with ebay stores)

5- Where can I buy Akumu Ink merch in real life?

6- When can I expect new designs on the website?
We aim to release new designs at the beginning of every month. Add us on instagram and facebook to get updated on our latest releases immediately when they are available. 

7- I've seen an Akumu Ink booth at a comiccon (pre 2020). Who were the nice people in the booth?
If you’ve seen an Akumu Ink® banner above our booth, then that was us! Aldora and Joey (the co-creators behind Akumu Ink), are always behind the booth of every event Akumu Ink® pops up at. However since the Covid-19 pandemic began in 2020, we are no longer attending conventions at this time.

8- There's a design I really like but can't find it on your website. Is it going to be available again?
All of our designs are printed in limited quantities. Once a design goes into our Design Graveyard page it will never be stocked again.

9- I saw your designs in a facebook ad. Are these REAL or FAKE? Who should I notify?

We have been seeing rampant reproductions from manufacturers in China/India selling stolen versions of our designs all over the internet from Amazon to Facebook.

Before you buy, here are some ways to tell if the seller is a scammer:

-If there’s no mention of the Akumu Ink® brand name or visible logos. It’s fake.
-If the shirt is shipping from China or India, it's 100% fake. All our products are clearly labelled ‘Created in Holland’ or ‘Printed in the USA’.
-If our design is available on a product that is not offered on www.akumuink.com, it’s fake.
-If the product’s price is much lower (50% less) than what we sell it for on akumuink.com, it’s most likely fake.
-If the material and print quality seem really bad, it's fake.

If you're not sure if an online seller is fake, just message us and we'll be happy to let you know. We try our best to shut down ripoffs and scammers quickly.


10- Returns/Exchanges:
Please Contact us about an exchange within 5 days of receiving your order:

A- If the item is NOT what you ordered.

B- If the item is defective.

We do not refund, accept returns and/or exchange if the order was correctly fulfilled. Under certain conditions when an exchange/refund may be possible, there will be a 25% restocking fee added to facilitate the customer's request.

DO NOT SEND any items back before contacting us.

-For those who buy through Klarna: We offer a 14-day return period. If you order the wrong size and would like to exchange or return, you would be required to cover the cost of shipping.
