Mystery Bug Painting

I'm currently working on a painting which will end up being a girl smelling a flower with a creepy and mysterious bug on her. I've learned so much painting these last few months and have really changed my style with every painting I've worked on. As I progress I'd like to go more and more into a 'figurative' approach, almost on the verge of abstract but always creating obvious portraits. Although my hand is still pretty controlled, I'm working on loosening up to create works that resemble our scratchy tshirt designs.
