All We Love We Leave Behind

This is one of the first bands I ever heard that made me reassess what music should sound like. They have a brand new album entitled "All We Love We Leave Behind" coming out on Oct 9, which is so grown up and really its own sound. No one is doing what these guys are doing in the hxc/metal/grindcore (whatever you want to call it) scene. The music video, the lyrics, the way it sounds like a symphony of brutal notes is simply amazing. I'm really proud to have grown from the beginning with this band. I would hang out at band practice with my buddies with Converge constantly be playing in the background. It was right at the time when 'Jane Doe' came out and I was immediately hooked.
