UNEXPECTED

comiccon shirt, artist alley, artist alley tshirt, girl pile skulls tshirt I rarely blog about random little stories in our life but this one is completely worth mentioning. Aldora and I were walking towards the convention Sunday morning from the hotel. It's a little over a 20min walk along the side of a straight road in a forested area. At this point we had already done this walk back and forth a few times since Friday, so we weren't excited to walk it again. We were sleepy and exhausted from working the show all weekend and were having a discussion as to whether or not we should come back in 2015. We were not even a third of the way through our walk when a truck pulled over to the side of the road just ahead of us. We didn't really think much of it other than that we had to walk around it, and there wasn't much space to do so without possibly falling into a ditch. As we continued walking towards the truck while assessed what our strategy would be to get around it, the side door opened and a girl jumped out. This was the most surreal experience I have ever had, because the girl that jumped out of the truck was wearing an Akumu Ink tshirt. My mind couldn't process what was happening until she waved at us and called us over to "get in the truck!" We were both caught off guard that anyone would offer us a lift, but above all that we we could even be recognized while covered by our winter jackets. We were stunned by how sweet these girls were not only for picking us up but for loving our products as well. So the least we could do to say thank you to these wonderful ladies is to post some photos of their amazingly intricate creations.
